How to check FBR e-Payment (PSID Creation) online
- Go to https://iris.fbr.gov.pk/payment (log in for registered taxpayers, or continue as an unregistered payer).
- Select the tax type and the nature/head of payment.
- Enter the taxpayer particulars, tax year and amount.
- Generate the PSID (a unique payment slip number).
- Pay the PSID through your bank's internet banking, ATM or mobile app; a Computerized Payment Receipt (CPR) is emailed/SMSed.
What you need
To create a PSID you need your CNIC/NTN, the tax type/head, tax year and amount. Registered users log in with CNIC/NTN and a password (reset via IRIS 'Forgot Password'); unregistered users can still generate a PSID.
Good to know: You do not need to be a registered taxpayer to generate a PSID, but registered NTN holders get their payment linked to their IRIS profile automatically.
