Responsible Use & Online Safety

Follow these simple rules to keep your accounts safe when logging in to any Pakistani service.

Do

• Type the official URL yourself or use a bookmark.
• Check for the padlock and correct domain before entering details.
• Use a strong, unique password and enable OTP / two-factor where available.
• Log out on shared or public devices.

Don’t

• Never share your password, PIN, or OTP with anyone — no bank or agent will ask for it.
• Never log in from links in SMS, WhatsApp, or email.
• Never trust “prize” or “account blocked” messages asking for your details.

If you think you’ve been scammed

Contact your provider’s official helpline immediately (shown on each portal page), change your password, and report cyber-crime to the FIA’s National Response Centre for Cyber Crime (NR3C).
