PTA's official SIM Information System lets a citizen find out how many SIMs are registered against their CNIC and with which operator, via SMS to 668 or the web portal cnic.sims.pk.

How to log in to PTA SIM Information System (668)

  1. To check by SMS: type your 13-digit CNIC (no dashes) and send it to 668 from any Pakistani SIM.
  2. You will receive the total number of SIMs against your CNIC per operator, with masked numbers.
  3. To check online: open the official web portal at https://cnic.sims.pk/.
  4. Enter your CNIC and complete verification to view the SIMs registered to you.

Reset your password / PIN

No account or password is used. This is a CNIC-based lookup via 668 or cnic.sims.pk. To block an unknown SIM registered on your CNIC, contact the relevant operator or file a complaint with PTA.

Ensure you sent exactly 13 digits with no dashes/spaces from a Pakistani network; wait up to a minute and resend.
A SIM I don't recognise is on my CNIC
Contact that operator immediately to disown/block it and report the issue to PTA to prevent misuse.
Cannot deactivate a newly issued SIM
Per PTA policy, new SIMs cannot be transferred/disowned for the first 365 days; contact the operator for the correct process.
